    Estate Agent

An estate agent is someone who helps people buy, sell, or rent homes, buildings, or land. Think of them as friendly guides in the world of real estate. In Jamaica, estate agents are trained and need a special license from the Real Estate Board, which makes sure they know the rules and do their job honestly. Estate agents help people understand what properties are available, how much they cost, and which areas might be a good fit for them.

When a person wants to sell a house, the estate agent advertises it, arranges visits, and answers questions about it. They make sure everything is clear and fair for everyone involved. Estate agents also help buyers or renters understand what they’re getting and guide them in making offers and negotiating prices. They even know about neighborhood details, like schools, stores, and parks, which can be helpful to families.

In other countries, estate agents do similar things, but the exact rules they follow might be a bit different. Whether in Jamaica or around the world, estate agents are important because they make sure that buying, selling, or renting property is easier, safer, and fair for everyone.
