China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) is set to develop a gated residential complex in Mammee Bay, St. Ann, Jamaica. This project aims to construct over 800 residences on a 740-acre (300-hectare) property, accommodating approximately 4,000 residents. The development is planned in six phases over five and a half years. ​

Historical and Cultural Significance

The chosen site holds historical importance, known for its rivers and ancient indigenous settlements. Some areas are reportedly linked to the ancestors of National Hero Marcus Garvey.
