New Listing Policy at Jamaica Homes: Verified, and Handled by a Trusted Professional


At Jamaica Homes, we’ve always believed that buying or selling property in Jamaica should be simple, transparent, and secure — whether you’re a local homeowner, a landlord, or an international investor. That’s why we’re proud to introduce a new and improved Listing Verification Policy, designed to protect everyone involved in the real estate journey while keeping access to the platform 100% free.

Starting April 13, 2025, all listings on Jamaica Homes will go through a centralized and fully verified process, handled personally by me, Dean Jones, Realtor® Associate at Coldwell Banker Jamaica Realty and Founder of Jamaica Homes.


Why This Change?

In recent years, we’ve seen the rise of property scams and unverified listings across the digital landscape. At Jamaica Homes, we’re taking a stand for authenticity, professional standards, and peace of mind. Every listing will now go through a thorough vetting process to ensure that:

  • The seller or landlord is the rightful owner

  • The property is genuinely available

  • All documentation is legitimate and current

  • Listings are accurate, fair, and trustworthy

How the New Listing Process Works

Step 1: Register on the website and click the Create a Listing button
Step 2: Upload your property information and required documents
Step 3: Email your completed documentation to office@jamaica-homes.com
Step 4: Wait for verification and site visit to confirm the property details
Step 5: Sign a Standard or MLS Listing Agreement
Step 6: Your listing goes live on Jamaica Homes and on Coldwell Banker Jamaica Realty and other national platforms (for MLS listings)


What You’ll Need to Submit

All sellers and landlords must provide the following:

  • Copy of your property title

  • Completed Customer Information Form (CIF)
    Download the form here
    (Must be notarized for international clients)

  • Valid photo ID for all owners (Driver’s License, Passport, or National ID)

  • TRN card or letter (Required if you’re not submitting a Jamaican Driver’s License)

  • Proof of address (Utility bill, bank/credit statement, or J.P. letter dated within the last 3 months)

For International Clients

We welcome international sellers and landlords — whether you’re based in the UK, US, Canada, or elsewhere. The process is the same, except that your Customer Information Form (CIF) must be notarized by a recognized authority in your jurisdiction before submission.
