KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) says water supply has been disrupted in Torado Heights, Coral Gardens and Flower Hill in St James because of an electricity supply problem affecting two water facilities.
In an advisory dated Friday, October 23, 2026, the utility identified a Jamaica Public Service (JPS) single-phase issue at its Torado Heights and Coral Gardens facilities as the cause.
NWC said the matter had been reported to JPS and that water service would return after the electrical problem was resolved. The advisory did not give a definite restoration time.
Residents in the affected communities can seek updates through NWC’s Western Division on 876-952-1640-1 or 876-727-8069, or its customer care line on 888-225-5692.
