KINGSTON, Jamaica — Water supply has been disrupted in several Hanover communities after broken mains affected the National Water Commission’s distribution network, the utility said in a notice dated Monday, October 26, 2026.
Affected areas include Tambrine Hill, Great River, Esher Hill, Bryce Hill, Vickors Lane and sections of Haughton and Lucea.
NWC said it is working to complete the necessary repairs by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27. That is a target for completing repairs, not confirmation that normal water supply will return at that time.
The notice did not specify when the interruptions began or how many customers are affected. Residents seeking updates may contact NWC customer care at 888-225-5692 or its Western Community Relations Department at 876-727-8069.
