PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos — Construction has started on Kempinski Grace Bay, the European hotel group’s first project in the Turks and Caicos Islands, trade publication Hotel Management and the Caribbean Journal reported in December 2025.
The developer, JTRE, is building on 11 acres of Grace Bay beachfront. Plans include 119 private residences and four oceanfront villas, with a beach club, spa, tennis and padel courts and a 3,000 sq ft wine cellar. Construction is scheduled to run through 2026, with completion expected in 2028. Kempinski chief executive Barbara Muckermann attended the groundbreaking.
Sales are being handled by Christie’s International Real Estate Turks & Caicos and Engel & Völkers Turks & Caicos. Unit prices and the total investment were not disclosed in the coverage.
What it means
Analysis: Grace Bay is already the most expensive stretch of real estate in the Turks and Caicos, and another branded-residence project adds to high-end supply there. Branded developments tend to support prices in the immediate area, but buyers of resale condominiums nearby face more competition for the same pool of wealthy purchasers.
