A prominent real estate attorney with 44 years in practice was struck off after allegedly using forged documents to sell properties she had no right to sell, with entertainer Mavado among those claiming to be defrauded.

Tasmania’s Anglican diocese planned to sell more than 120 churches, halls, houses and plots, just under half its holdings, to meet an estimated $8 million in redress for abuse survivors, with the bishop warning every parish would be affected.
