Duncans
About Duncans
Duncans is a quiet north coast community in Trelawny, situated between Falmouth to the west and Discovery Bay to the east. The town sits on a beautiful stretch of coastline with calm, clear water and a gently shelving beach — one of the most pleasant and underappreciated on Jamaica’s north coast. Duncans developed as a small fishing and farming community and retains that character today, though its relative proximity to the tourism infrastructure of both Falmouth (15km west) and Runaway Bay (15km east) is gradually drawing real estate interest. The area is known for its relaxed pace, friendly community, and some of the most affordable beachfront land on the entire north coast. The nearby Rio Bueno is an artist’s village with a charming colonial-era harbour worth visiting.
