While specific historical records about Cascade are limited, the broader Hanover Parish boasts a rich history dating back to its establishment on November 12, 1723, with Lucea as its capital. During the mid-18th century, Hanover’s farmers supplied much of Jamaica with produce, exporting items like banana and logwood. Notable historical sites in the parish include Fort Charlotte, built in 1761 to defend Lucea Harbour, and the Lucea Parish Church, with records dating back to the 18th century.

In terms of real estate, Cascade and its surrounding areas offer various properties for sale. =

Cascade’s location within Hanover Parish provides residents and visitors with access to the parish’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. The area is known for its lush landscapes, historical landmarks, and proximity to coastal attractions, making it a noteworthy community within Jamaica’s diverse tapestry.
