A sleek, modern apartment building in the heart of Kingston, Jamaica, rising above a bustling ground level that features a university campus, shops, cafes, and vibrant street life. The building's facade is a mix of glass and concrete, with clean lines and minimalist design. Large balconies offer views of the city and nearby mountains. The lower floors host students and professionals, creating a lively urban hub, while the upper residential floors provide peaceful, contemporary living spaces. The scene captures the blend of education, commerce, and modern urban lifestyle in Jamaica's capital. Urban sophistication, dynamic community, modern architecture.

A strata plan is a special kind of map that shows how a building or piece of land is divided up into separate parts that people can own. It’s mostly used in places like apartment buildings or townhouse complexes, where different people own different units but share some spaces like hallways, gardens, or parking lots. In Jamaica, when a building has a strata plan, it helps make sure everyone knows which parts of the property they own and which parts they share with others. It also sets out the rules about who is responsible for what, like taking care of the shared spaces or paying for repairs. Around the world, places like Australia, Canada, and the UK also use strata plans for similar reasons, to make sure that everyone’s rights are protected, and that the building or property runs smoothly. Strata plans make it clear what each owner’s duties are, so there are fewer arguments and everyone knows what to do. In Jamaica, as more buildings with many owners are being built, strata plans are becoming more important to keep everything organized and make sure people know what to expect from each other.
