    Refund Policy

    Effective Date: 11 July 2026

    Effective Date: 11 July 2026

This Refund Policy applies to all paid services offered by Jamaica Homes News, including but not limited to press release publication, sponsored content, advertising placements, content packages and promotional features.

Once a service has been commissioned and work has commenced, or once content has been published, no refund will be issued.

    Why We Don’t Do Refunds

We understand this is a firm position. Here is why it exists and why it is fair.

Digital publishing is a point-of-delivery business. When you commission content from Jamaica Homes News — whether a press release, a sponsored article, a feature, or an advertising placement — real work begins immediately: research, writing, editing, design, scheduling, and publication. The service is rendered at the moment that work commences, not simply at the moment content goes live.

Once published, content is indexed by search engines, distributed across our platform, read by our audience, and shared across the internet. That cannot be reversed, recalled or refunded. The service has been performed. The value has been delivered.

We set this position not to be difficult but because it reflects the reality of what we do. Our team’s time, expertise and editorial capacity are finite resources committed to your order from the moment it is accepted.

    What This Covers

    Not Eligible for Refund

Press release publication once submitted and accepted; sponsored content once drafting has commenced; advertising placements once live; content packages once any element has been delivered; rush or priority publication fees; any service where work has materially begun.

Where We Will Work With You

If we make a material error in your published content that you did not approve, we will correct it promptly at no charge. If a service you paid for cannot be delivered for reasons entirely within our control, we will discuss an appropriate resolution — which may include credit, rescheduling or, at our discretion, a partial refund.

    Before You Commission

We encourage all clients to review their briefs, content requirements and expectations thoroughly before submitting an order. Our team is available to answer questions and clarify scope before work begins.

Commissioning a service from Jamaica Homes News constitutes acceptance of this Refund Policy and our Terms of Use.

    💡

If you have a concern before committing to a service, contact us first. We would rather address your questions upfront than deal with a dispute afterwards. Once an order is placed and accepted, this policy applies without exception.

    Content Rejection

Jamaica Homes News reserves the right to decline or remove any submission that does not meet our Publishing Standards, is found to be unlawful, defamatory, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable for publication on our platform.

Where a submission is rejected before any editorial work has commenced, a refund may be considered at our discretion. Where editorial work has already begun and rejection follows, no refund will be issued.

It is the responsibility of the submitting party to ensure that content complies with applicable law and our Publishing Standards prior to submission.

    Disputes

If you believe a genuine error has occurred in the processing of your order or in the delivery of a service, please contact us in writing with full details within 14 days of the date of publication or delivery.

We will review your submission and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Our response may include a correction, an editorial adjustment, a credit toward future services, or a written explanation of why no action is warranted. It will not include a cash refund except in the limited circumstances described above.

The raising of a dispute does not suspend payment obligations.

    Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider without first contacting us is considered a breach of these terms. We maintain detailed records of all commissioned work, correspondence, and delivery confirmations. We will provide this documentation to your financial institution in response to any chargeback request.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. The version in effect at the time your order is placed applies to that order.

    Contact

Questions about this policy or a specific order may be directed to our team using the contact details published on our Contact page.

We value long-term commercial relationships and will always aim to resolve genuine concerns fairly.
