KINGSTON, Jamaica — Petrol and diesel prices are set to fall from Thursday, October 29, 2026, but kerosene and cooking gas will become more expensive under Petrojam’s latest weekly ex-refinery schedule.
Both E-10 grades fall J$3.06 per litre. E-10 87 drops to J$198.75, while E-10 90 declines to J$207.51.
Automotive diesel falls J$0.25 to J$246.66 per litre, and ultra-low-sulphur diesel slips J$0.25 to J$271.34.
The picture is less welcome for households that rely on other fuels. Kerosene rises J$4.50 to J$234.22 per litre. Propane cooking gas increases J$3.06 to J$88.83, while butane climbs J$4.50 to J$110.69.
Petrojam weekly ex-refinery movements effective October 29, 2026: E10 petrol down J$3.06, automotive diesel down J$0.25 and kerosene up J$4.50.
The mixed changes offer modest relief to drivers, although a 25-cent reduction in diesel is unlikely to transform transport or delivery costs. Higher kerosene and liquefied petroleum gas prices will add pressure for families and businesses using those products.
These are Petrojam’s ex-refinery billing prices, not guaranteed retail pump prices. Marketing companies, distributors and service stations add their own mark-ups, so the amount paid by customers varies.
