The Jamaica Stock Exchange’s main JSE Index fell 1,453.98 points, or 0.38%, to close at 381,939.01 on Tuesday 27 October 2026, while the Junior Market Index rose 0.38% and the All Jamaican Composite rose 0.12%. Of the 133 stocks traded, 53 advanced, 48 declined and 32 were unchanged.
The US dollar sold at J$159.6491 on the Bank of Jamaica’s weighted average, and the central bank’s policy rate stood at 6.00% after it was raised from 5.50% effective 29 September.
