KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission says full operation at the Hopewell facility in St Elizabeth is now targeted for October 31 after an earlier restoration deadline was missed.
Customers in Hopewell, Pondside, Hill Top, Greenfield, Brucesfield, Stonefield, Arlington, Vineyard, Williamsfield, Barbary Hall and sections of Parottee and Little Bridge may continue to experience low pressure or no water while repairs continue.
NWC said trucked water remains available for affected communities and listed 876-966-4713, 876-966-9554 and 888-225-5692 for assistance.
The utility said work is continuing to return the facility to full operation and customers should follow official updates for changes to the restoration timetable.
