Detailed shot of an elevated water storage tank on a worn, wooden platform, showcasing the tank's weathered, galvanized steel design with rusty accents, and the network of pipes and valves that supply water to the home, set against a warm, golden hour sky with subtle, atmospheric haze, captured in a cinematic film still style, reminiscent of the works of cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, with a mix of the gritty realism of filmmakers like Denis Villeneuve and the nostalgic, film grain aesthetic of 35mm film, incorporating a subtle vignette and nuanced color grading, evoking a sense of drama and epic scope
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Recent rainfall has improved inflows to some National Water Commission systems, but storage at Jamaica’s two main Kingston and St Andrew reservoirs remains low and regulated supply is continuing.
NWC reported Mona Reservoir at 36.3 per cent of capacity and Hermitage Dam at 44.9 per cent on October 11.
The utility said the rainfall was welcome but had not yet restored storage to comfortable levels, meaning customers should continue to expect regulated distribution in affected areas and conserve water where possible.
For households, low reservoir storage can translate into reduced pressure, shorter supply windows and greater reliance on domestic storage tanks until inflows improve further.
