KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) says an internal electrical fault at its Canoe Pond facility has disrupted water supply to four communities in St Mary.
In an official notice dated Friday, October 23, 2026, the utility identified Days Mountain, Airy Hill, Canoe Pond and Coloraine Housing Scheme as the affected areas.
NWC said full operation would resume once the electrical fault was resolved. It did not provide a confirmed restoration time.
Customers were asked to use available water supplies conservatively while the interruption continues. For updates, NWC directs customers to its customer care line at 888-225-5692 and its official social media channels.
