The Jamaica Stock Exchange’s main JSE Index fell 932.06 points, or 0.24%, to close at 383,592.83 on Friday 2 October 2026, while the Junior Market Index rose 1.50% and the All Jamaican Composite gained 0.29%. Of the 111 stocks traded, 49 advanced, 46 declined and 16 were unchanged.
The US dollar sold at J$159.3662 on the Bank of Jamaica’s weighted average, and the central bank’s policy rate stood at 6.00% after it was raised from 5.50% effective 29 September.
